Tomujin Academy
Tomujin isn’t just another college prep program.
We’re a community, a group of teachers, mentors, and dreamers who believe that every student deserves the chance to find themselves and build a life that feels meaningful.
In a world that often feels lonely and competitive, we want to be that safe place where young people can be real, supported, and surrounded by others who dream big too.
We guide students not only toward their dream schools, but toward the kind of confidence, skills, and mindset that help them build successful, happy lives.
We’re here for the kids who might not have had access before the ones with potential, drive, and big hearts. We’re breaking the idea that only the rich can afford great guidance. Everyone deserves a community that believes in them, pushes them, and helps them grow.
That’s what Tomujin is all about opening doors, building belonging, and creating a space where bright young minds lift each other higher.
OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER
I founded Tomujin to share my privilege. Everything I’ve achieved exists because others sacrificed for me. My parents gave up their dreams for my education, Williams College gave me full aid, and Harvard gave me a seat someone else could have had.
I’ve helped thousands reach elite universities, but what I’m truly proud of is that most came from families who couldn’t even afford a tutor, let alone a consultant.
Tomujin isn’t different because of AI, data, or ex-admissions officers, it’s different because of why we do this. Tomujin is our attempt at taking my luck, my fortune, and my privilege, and breaking the exclusion wide open for kind, caring, and passionate students.
I was always the underdog, the silver medalist who somehow made it into the 1%. Instead of selling that privilege for more, we’re using it to open doors for others. That’s why every program follows a 60/40 model: 40% of our students pay no tuition. One day, we hope that number becomes 100%.
